Answered"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Warzone and MW2 players have noticed that the game&#8217;s ultra-popular Ranked Play is currently unavailable, but why is this the case and when will it be back online? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-where-is-mw2-ranked-play\">Where Is MW2 Ranked Play? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re logging on to play Ranked on August 2, 2023, the reason it&#8217;s unavailable is the launch of <a href=\"https:\/\/twinfinite.net\/call-of-duty\/warzone-mw2-season-5-patch-notes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Season 5.<\/a> The new season&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/twinfinite.net\/call-of-duty\/when-is-warzone-season-5-season-4-end-date-content-leaks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">update is scheduled<\/a> to go live at <strong>9am PT \/ 12pm ET \/ 5pm BST \/ CEST 6pm \/ 3am AEDT.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As they&#8217;ve done with recent seasons, the mode&#8217;s developers <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Treyarch\/status\/1686453103401504768?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Treyarch<\/a> have taken it offline while they make adjustments for the new season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They confirmed it would be unavailable from early on August 2, coming back online &#8220;later&#8221;, once the new season has commenced. Players will be unable to matchmake in Ranked Play modes, and the playlist buttons will be temporarily disabled during this time.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-when-is-it-back\">When Is It Back? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Right now, we don&#8217;t have an exact re-activation time for WZ and MW2 Ranked Play. <\/strong>However, when a similar period of removal occurred with Season 4&#8217;s implementation, both modes were back up and running within hours of the new season&#8217;s launch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, we expect MW2 and Warzone Ranked Play to become playable again late on 2 August, or early on 3 August. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturally, issues may arise with the new seasons that could delay it being re-added.
