Warzone Season 5 has been revealed and will be here before we know it. It promises more weapon changes but, until then, players want to know the best guns for Warzone Season 4. Here’s the ultimate WZ weapon tier list.
Warzone Season 4 overhauled base health and introduced Vondel into the battle royale. Alongside, Season 4 Reloaded, they were relatively light on weapon changes. Instead of huge sweeping changes, they were more targeted.
The ISO 45 received a nerf, the KV Broadside received a buff and, across the board, the devs made changes to the damage profile of Warzone’s weapons. It means players will be punished for missing shots and rewarded for more accurate firing. It’s sure to keep things interesting as we approach Season 5.
Warzone Season 4 Weapon Tier List
Firstly, we’ll walk you through our Warzone Season 4 Reloaded tier list, ranking every weapon based on its in-game performance and viability. After that, we’ll pick our favorite three weapons in the current meta.
We’re keeping the ISO 45 in A-Tier after its close-range damage was reduced in the S4R update. Its trajectory was phenomenal, but it’s no longer quite as lethal up close as it was. The Vaznev-9K is also down to A-Tier. It could be a move we reverse soon, but another nerf has just tipped it below other SMGs, like the Lachmann Sub, in our opinion.
The Cronen Squall has made the move from B-Tier to S-Tier, with it emerging as a mid-range monster in Season 4. There’s a decent amount of recoil to combat so practice makes perfect in this regard. Alongside the M13B, it’s one of the most improved guns in the whole game.

Now the tier list has been detailed in full, we’re taking you through our three favorite guns in the entire BR. Again, these are subjective (and so are the attachment choices). Regardless, we’re sure there’ll be one that tickles your fancy.
Cronen Squall
The Battle Rifle that is the Cronen Squall dropped with Season 3. While it’s initial introduction was overshadowed by the FJX Imperium, it’s quickly established itself as a dominant mid-range weapon, capable of dealing incredible damage so long as its recoil can be tempered. To do that, use the following build:
- Optic: Aim OP-V4
- Stock: B13 Pad
- Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
- Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
HCR-56
If you prefer a slower playstyle, the HCR-56 is probably the best LMG in Warzone right now. It’s almost a bulkier AR, faster than most LMGs but still able to compete at medium and long ranges. If you’re set up and rocking the attachments below, your enemies won’t stand a chance:

- Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
- Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip

Lachmann Sub
With the ISO 45 and Vaznev-9K nerfed, the Lachmann Sub retains its status as our absolute favorite SMG in Warzone. It’s rapid rate of fire, high damage and snappy ADS make it unmatched at close ranges. With the attachments below, it’s even crazier:
